Screenshot problems?

For some reason, my LG Lucid isn't letting me screenshot / screen capture. Previously I could by holding the power buttom and home button at the same time, but now when I do that it just gives me my recents. How do I fix this? I really liked having that option.

Try using vol down and power at the same time

That's weird try looking at the manual or googlin it but pretty much all phones are vol down and power.
