Screenshot while on a call

For some reason when I'm talking on the the phone it will take screenshot. Can someone please tell me why its doing this and how can I fix this? Thanks! I show you a screenshot of my screen....

What ROM are you running? I am on stock clh9 and it works for me. Make a call, simultaneously hold the power button and home key for ~3s... a screenshot is taken. No issues for me.

I'm new to Android and have only had my gs3 for three weeks. Sorry, I have no idea what ROM is lol I wish there was a beginner's course to the world of Android and Id take it.

There is. Have you read the stickies at the top of this forum specific to the GS3? Also over in the general section there are numerous threads on general topics and 101 stuff.

Maybe your accidentally pressing something with your cheek, it happens... Make sure when u put the phone to your ear that the screen turns off
