How can I take a screenshot with this phone? The power + volume down button isn't working.

It should still be Power and Vol Down pressed and held together. They have to be pressed simultaneously, and you may have to hold them down for 1-2 seconds. Some phones may be more finicky than others, and require you to press the buttons absolutely at the same time.

Tried several different times. Pressed them both simultaneously, held them for 2-3 seconds. No dice. Ugh...this is very frustrating.

Weird. Try going to this Google Play support site, click on the Contact Us button at the upper right, select your phone, then click on Request a Call at the bottom.

I finally got it to work. Thanks. It is very finicky indeed.
