Scrolling performance issues

My Note 5 has very inconsistent scrolling behavior. You flick and stop and at times even with the finger pressed to the screen the scrolling keeps going like it did not register the touch. Also when scrolling it's very inconsistent. A consistent flick creates inconsistent scrolling. I pulled my Note 3 out of the drawer and that scrolls like a champ. I have tried different ROMS and Kernals hoping to fix it and nothing. Any ideas?

That's strange because that's one of the reasons I went back from the note7 to the Note 5 mine Scrolls perfectly the note7 was majorly glitching with scrolling

Ya I have even scrolled then went to stop the scroll by landing a finger and it did not register and kept scrolling.

That's the Snapdragon 820 for you, it's not an Exynos.

The scrolling is bad. With equal flicks the scroll at times will go fast then other times it will go slow. There seems to be no consistency with my finger speed or distance of flick to the scroll. I have tried different ROMs and Kernals and nothing has changed it.

Could it maybe be a TouchWiz thing?

I just got a Note 5 today. Now I'm gonna pay attention to see if I that happens to me.

I am running a non-touchwiz rom and same issue. My old Note 3 scrolls as it should, this Note 5 is a mess.
