Scrolling/Zooming on Android Apps

When using Android apps on my Pixelbook, there seems to be less functionality than when using apps through Chrome. I'm unable to scroll with the track pad but have to use the touchscreen. Also, I'm unable to zoom in on the apps using the track pad gesture. Is this just a baked in difference between using apps and Chrome or a problem with my Pixelbook? Are others experiencing these issues? Thanks.

Not all the apps are pixelbook ready I spoke to a google rep and they are changing daily google wants all apps to work on both phones and laptops. Apple has the same issues with iPad bs iPhone apps.

Yes, I have the same problem. I have to be careful to remember if I am on a Web application or in an Android app.
