sd card burnt out

alright, well it looks like my sd card just died after 24 days of use. i know keith's card died and then his next, but even with heavy use they should have way more life than just days.

i guess i am curious to know if anyone else has had this problem and i am assuming if it's several people then we got bad cards or our phones are killing them.

i pronounced my card dead after my computer failed to read it and after my phone failed to format it. and i swapped sd cards to make sure the card reader worked and the phone worked.

yup my first card i kept from my first evo died... when i got my replacement i got a new card with it and its held up for a few weeks now. the first card was a sandisk and my new one is a samsung. i dont know if that matters.

No, sir. Did not think of there to look but will certainly give it a go and will report back.

bahh, unfortuantely it didn't fix the card. my computer did try to recognize through the phone and format it. it wanted to format it as a 30 mb card. seem suspicious to anyone else?

Update: HTC finally responded and they said since the card cannot be formatted to take it to a Sprint store. I will let you know how it goes.

Well that was painless. Just walked in and told them what was up and they gave me a new (or at least different) sd card. Let me keep the old one too.
