SD card going in and out of service

I changed out my 32 gb SD card with a 64 gb SD card but my phone does not always recognize it. When I restart the phone all is good, but somewhere down the line the phone stops recognizing it and I have to reboot.

I never had this problem with the smaller card. Does anyone have any ideas? Could the card be defective? Should I unmount the card, take it out and put it back in to see if that helps.

Hi.. Yes I would unmount then mount again. It that don't work unmount take it out then reinstall again.
