SD card-Mounted Read Only!

So I've been running skyraider 2.5.2, for about a day and wanted to add one of the new battery themes in rom manager. Did a backup, but no data or cache wipe. When my phone booted back up, I noticed a funny icon in the notification bar. It looks like the sd card icon with a question mark on the front of it. When I open the task bar it says Mounted Read Only, problem with sd card. ??? Do I need to reformat? I haver a lot of crap on this card!

I fixed the issue. I used a micro-sd converter and popped the sd card into my laptop directly. I copied everything to the desktop (except the data folder, I guess this has the corrupt file). Then put the sd card back in my phone and re-formatted. Then I plugged into my laptop and copied everything back.
