I had a situation arise recently after my Froyo 3.26.651.6 (Rooted) update... Several full nandroid backups and titanium backups later, and then deleting some of those big files, the SD card started mounting read-only a few hours after I was done and fully updated/rooted.
So what happened was I copied everything off (finally), formatted it with FAT32 (non-quick), threw it back in the phone, copied everything back on the card (minus internet cache files, etc) and it is all working great since.
My question is this - is there a better format for the EVO than to use Fat32? Obviously it reads it, but should I have used the phone itself to format the card? What format would have have produced? I'm wondering if the format on the SD card could or would cause lag when accessing it.
Thanks!
Rich
