SD Card Problem

Today I decided to delete the contents of my SD card on CM7 to remove some downloads and old crap because I wanted to start fresh. I didn't care about loosing my data, but when I tried to remount the card it said Blank SD Card. I read online that formatting it works but I doubt it. I don't want to take the phone to Verizon because I'm rooted. If I unroot then mount it will the card work? I'l do anything to fix it.Any suggestions?

You should definitely reformat the card for FAT32 first. That will probably fix the card. If you erased everything on your card, you may have to reflash recovery with rom manager app/make a new nandroid when your card works again.
