sd card questions...

i guess what im needing to know is if anyone else is experiencing sd card issues.
am i doing something wrong that is causing my phone to keep eating the cards. in the last 10 days my phone has destroyed 2 cards. never had this prob untill now. there maybe times when i dont fully let the phone shut down before swapping batteries. im not downloading anything or erasing alot of stuff. only using about 3gb. on a 16gb card. used about 4 1/2 on the 8gb card. ive switched card makers. sandisk to kingston. phone isnt getting hot. just trying to troubleshoot what could be causing this or do i have a defective phone. any help would be greatfull. ive been racking my brain trying to figure this out.

Sandisk is usually pretty good. Kingston have been known to have problems. I'm using a Transcend class 6 8gb card and have had zero problems. Of course I didn't have any problems with the stock card, either.
