SD card swap question

I have the app2sd app and most of my apps from my Evo 4G were on my SD card. When I put the card in my Epic the only apps that show up are my 2 "paid" apps.
Can anyone please tell me how to get my apps back without downloading them again? And IF I download them again, wouldn't there be 2 of the same apps on my sd card if the app2sd app loaded them on to my sd card again.

Apps 2 SD backup apps to SD card. It only moves a portion of the app to the SD card. You have to manually install the apps after switching to a new phone or hard reset.
