What's the best way to transfer photo's/video/music to the SD and get it off the USB?

Plug it into a computer and drag and drop.

I've yet to try Kies Air but I think it's supposed to do that kind of stuff. Hopefully someone else can clarify that.

Drag an drop via what? I'm on a mac.

On a mac via finder. You go to settings -> applications -> development -> usb debugging and check that. Then plug your usb into the phone and pull the notification drawer down and hit mount and it will show up in finder. And kies air works pretty good if you care to try it. You just turn it on your phone (which should be connected to the same wifi network as your mac) and go to the ip address listed on the phone.
