sd corrupted

ok i need HELP....my sd card is corrupted. i dunno how it happened. i dont remove the card and i havent downloaded anything. i dont know wat to do. i cant even get it to open on my mac or pc. it wont even show up in my computer! i feel like crying. wat to do how do i fix this?! ps its a 16gb card and i have an incredible!

well hopefully you have what is on the card backed up. but you can try unmounting it and formatting the card.

i cant even format the card. cant view anything on the card.....and unfortunately i didnt have it backed up! omg so wanna cry

I had the same thing happen - RIGHT AFTER I BACKED UP THE CARD! - I could not mount the card on my computer at all. I was able to put it into my digital camera (using an SD adapter) and format it there. Then I put it back into the phone, copied everything back and it is fine - although the apps I moved to the SD card needed to be reinstalled.

go settings->phone and sd card storage-> click unmount-> then format.

this will work for most minor issues but not everything.

the sd card isnt recognized in the phone. i could click unmount but nothing happens...i even went to the verizon store. and they had no luck. i've tried everything!

My sd card, and phone sd both got corrupted. To fix it I had to pull my sd card, back everything up on the computer, and them format it from the computer.

i cant get my computer/phone/camera to recognize the card. i stick the card in the computer and its not there. in the fone its not there in the camera it wont format!!! ggggrrrrr i just want wats on the damn card! this is annoying!

Have you tried another sd card in the phone to rule out the sd port itself as the issue? Just a thought.

This happened to me after turning on my phone while it was plugged in.

Now if my battery is completely dead, I charge it for a few mins, unplug it, boot it up, and then plug it in to charge. Ridiculous.

I tend to agree it would seem your card some where was deleted from its self try contacting the manufacturer for post recourse......c

yeah i put in an old 2gb sd card! and it works fine.....mmmmmm yeah that memory card is toast!
