Hello,
I don't know if this is the right place to put this but whatever. I have recently upgraded to marshmallow 6.0 on my HTC Desire 816. I need more space as i only have 8Gb so i bought a 64Gb micro SD card and have formatted it as internal storage to put my apps on. However after doing so the camera says i need to install a SD card to take photos and apps are not using the addition storage as it keeps saying insufficient space when downloading. Tapping on the SD card in storage only gives me Available, Apps and Cached data.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Love it... can't even take screenshots because apparently i have no space...

I just don't know whats going on...

It looks like it's reporting the SD card as incorporated into Internal Storage. What shows up if you tap the menu button at the upper right of that 2nd screenshot?

There is no menu button on the second photo. However on the SD card storage window it comes up as Rename, Eject, Format as portable, Migrate data. I have done the migrate data option and it moves around 300mb onto the card but thats it. I can't take photos as well because it asks me to insert a SD card. Also when i download a new app should it automatically go onto the SD card or is there an option that i must first use because i can't find one. This is weird as it says i have used 7.58GB out of 66.62GB and i have warnings about low storage space...

Oops, I meant third screenshot.:-\

Sorry, but I'm not sure what to try next. I'd suggest contacting HTC support, but to be honest, they probably won't be that helpful.:'(
