Anyone use this app? I paid for it and it seems to work well. Someone said you should just let the phone handle these things but others swear by it. Just curious what your thoughts on it we're.
Same here.I used it once and it's a great app.
Having said this I am not using it now because Samsung includes its own maintenance tools in the form of "device maintenance".

Not for those on VerizonI used it once and it's a great app.

The baked in Device Maintenance is built by Cheetah Mobile, the same people who built Clean Master. CM was one of the apps that received the most criticism from the anti cleaner crowd. Now Samsung bakes it in so it's more readily accepted. I'd say there is a need for it since Samsung felt the need to add it to the mix.
BK Disabler can disable Device Maintenance.Quite right, I would never recommend cheetah mobile to my worst enemy..
But the problem with cheetah mobile is their spying and their unreasonable permission requests.
Since it's embedded in TW and I can't get rid of it, I can only trust Samsung took steps to prevent their spying. And if they haven't prevented it, they'll spy whether I use it or not, so I might as well use it.
If you don't have device maintenance by all means SD maid is the way to do it. It's transparent, lightweight, gets the job done and the Dev offers great support.
