Question SD micro card no longer found in Amazon Fire 7 & Win10

On Fire 7 KindIe tablet I noticed quick message "SD card is write protected". Next I tried to access card via Storage. It no longer shows, only the internal memory is listed.
On Win10 computer the card is reported as fail upon plug-in. It does not show. I tried with 2 different multi card adapters.
Can I somehow retrieve the data, preferably using win10. I could install an Android emulator ,if this helps.

That's pretty typical of a card that has become corrupt. You could try something like DiskDigger, but I wouldn't be too optimistic: [Guide] Recovering Deleted Files - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

If SD not recognized there won't be any recovery.
Conclusion: Amazon FIRE reader damages SD card for no visible reason, like low battery or something.

Sorry that the card has failed, but I don't think you can immediately blame the tablet. There are a lot of possible reasons for a card to fail. Where did you get this card? Counterfeit low-quality SD cards are very common, especially if sold by some random online seller.
