I know according to the documentation that came with the phone it will accept a 32gb sdhc card. I would like to install a 64gb sdxc card. ow can I find out if the larger card will work with my phone?

Thanks

I have a 32 gb card in my Photon. Haven't tried a 64 gb card, but I have read posts that 64 works fine.

The microSDXC uses a different file format than microSDHC card, and isn't compatible with the Photon.

The 64 gb one does work.. I have 32 gb of movies on it and use it just fine. You just have to format it when you first insert it in the phone. Then it recognizes it. Other wise it thinks the card is damaged until you do so.

Just because a phone will mount a 64gb micro SDXC card and display something like 59gb free space doesn't mean it can actually use that free space. Most likely what will happen is that things will act normal until you get to around the 32gb used mark and then things will start getting a little squirrely. Images will looked like they saved and not be found anywhere on the card, for example.
