Android Central Question

We have a Samsung Tab A7 tablet with three separate users (me as primary, wife as secondary, and son as secondary with restrictions based on Google Family). I was hoping to share a folder of music between us--or to create separate music folders on the SD card for each of the accounts. I can see my Music folder with songs in it on the SD card under my user account. However, when I switch to either my wife's or my son's user account, the folder is not visible, and I am unable to create a new folder on the SD card. Is this possible?

Yes, all three user accounts have their own linked Google accounts, but it seems that only the primary user account can use the SD card. Frustrating.
Hi, welcome to AC!

I have 3 gmail accounts on my Note 20U and each can use the sd card , what are you trying to do with the other accounts and sd card ?

I am trying to create separate folders for audio/video files for each user. When attached to a computer, I can only create/modify folders on the SD card when logged into my primary account on the tablet. When logged into either secondary account on the tablet, I am unable to see any primary account folders/files on the SD card (as expected), but I am also not able to create any new files/folders there. I have tried some file management apps for the tablet, as well, but I have been unable to make anything work. Do you have a suggestion? THANKS!

I haven't tried to use the sd card like that , not sure you can , what about using Google drive and everyone would have their own to do that ?

It's a WiFi only tablet, so, for example, when traveling in the car, there would be no way to access files that are not directly on the tablet. If you have only a 16GB "internal' card, there is not a lot of space left for audio/video files after you account for the system software and all of the apps that must stay on the internal card. It just seems like there would be a way for the additional users to use the SD card storage for their audio/video files, but apparently that is not possible. I can put all of those files on the SD card under my primary account, but that doesn't allow me to segregate content from my son (e.g., rated "R" movies or music with explicit lyrics) or keep him from accessing my other files.
