Secure Folder - NO SMS Support

I have been trying to wrap my head around trying to use SMS inside Secure Folder for a couple days. I tried to install Textra on my device + in Secure Folder and made it default app on my device and still didn't work.

I finally chatted with Samsung Support and they said that SMS isn't available in the Secure Folder.......That's a bummer.

Yeah, SMS is tied to your SIM card, and not to an online account like Facebook Messenger or Google Hangouts would be. Therefore, you can't associate the Secure Folder version with an "account" since the phone would receive the SMS regardless of which app you use.

You would need something like Google voice as it would give you a different number and is not tied to SIM card......
I noticed GV was one of the apps available from my phone that was compatible with the secure folder

So this isnt saying that I need this set up but you could download a app that gives you a separate cell number. E.g. burner or hushed. Just put one of those into the secure folder and use your regular sms for your cover
