Years ago all the security cameras recorded constantly and you could record to a hard drive or your computer or even a flash drive or SD card in your computer!

I used to have a D-Link DCS-932L (it died and is no longer supported) that did all of the above plus allowed live viewing on your phone or computer. It also had a 51 degree viewing angle which was perfect to record my yard from inside on the window sill. Fisheye lenses are no good at a distance through a wjndow.

All of the new devices like Ring or even D-Link sell require a trigger like motion or sound to record for a short interval leaving hours and hours of the day with no recorded video. Unacceptable imo.

Does anybody know of a current indoor recording device with no more than 60 degree lens (many now have fish eye lens which is useless at distances more than 20 feet away)?

I like to aim my indoor wifi cam through the window to watch my yard. I'm not up for installing an outdoor security system.

I am hoping someone can make a suggestion? Thanks so much!
