Security for nexus 10 is it needed

I only use my tablet at home and my daughters home,where both home pcz(tower) have security,would these home security devices automatically extend to devices using wi fi connected to them?,or do I need separate security for the Nexus 10

tablet on wi fi at home does the tablet need cuirity as well or willlmy homesecurity automatically cover it?
