Security Lock

OK, so for some reason, I updated to 2.2 and now I have to enter a Security PIN every time I unlock my phone. I went to disable this as it is a giant pain, but the option for "None" or "Pattern" are greyed out. Anyone else having this problem?

Also, I had used Easy Root prior to the upgrade and forgot to UnRoot first.

I have a Dinc but I am trying to help a co workser that is having this exact issue; prior to the upgrade he had a pattern lock active and now that it is updated it asks him for a security pin.

If I go settings>Location & security settings>Change screen lock and enter the pin number The none option and pattern option are grey and are labled as disabled by remote phone administrator.

This makes no sense and really has me scratching my head.

Also, his flashlight app no longer turns on the led after the update.

So much for a smooth transition to FROYO

OK I found a fix. First delete your corporate email account. Then the security settings will no longer be grayed out. Change your security setting to NONE and then re-add your corporate account. This worked for me so hopefully this works for everyone else.
