So.. whats up with security patches on the S21U? I have had my factory unlocked model for like three months now running on T-Mobile... and have gotten no security patches.

My phone isn't from 5 years ago, so what the heck is the dillyo?

Seems little behind, check with frija firmware tool put your model number and csc code TMB see check whats the latest version on there

Evidently according to Sam Mobile, the latest update for the U1 factory unlocked on T-Mobile is Android 13 which was on 11/30. Nothing since 9/29 besides that. What the heck?

You probably going need Odin to flash on pc

You mentioned there was November update from SamMobile so its behind

Yes. There was the Android 13 update, but it did not come bundled with any security update for some reason. In my experience, I thought it normally does. I received that update. But no security patches since the October 1st patch.

Strange Andriod 13 should have came with November or December security

Yeah, I found that really strange. Never seen that happen before. And it is a bit frustrating because I figured still being relatively newer, it would get them pretty consistently.

I'm still running an October 1st security patch on my S21U T-Mobile unlocked, too. When I check for updates in Settings it says everything is up to date.

I at least feel better that its not just me. Several people in the S21U subreddit have said the same thing.

I wonder if any T-Mobile users with an S21U that is carrier locked are having the same issues.
