Security Update 1/21/25

Phone has been trying to pull the update for more than 6 hours now.
20% complete...

Verizon S22 here. The update tried to automatically download yesterday (22nd) afternoon and failed with Error Code: 407. I manually started the download again this morning (23rd) and it took 6 hours to download (gig connection), but Software 42.0 was updated successfully.

Not sure why it started automatically in the afternoon when my preferred time is 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM.

Yeah mine is broken too on S22 Ultra. Gets stuck on downloading at 1 to 3% until an error. Then restarts the attempt again. Even clearing the phone cache and rebooting the phone does not work. As soon as the phone is restarted, the broken security update restarts and again fails. Dismissing it from the notification bar gets rid of it for a minute, but it comes right back. So this is a pain. Thanks Verizon.

Well I'm glad to find this thread. I ported over to Visible this morning and sure enough, get the security download notification. Thought I was getting errors because I'm no longer on VZW, but I see the same errors here.

How do I get the security updates if I'm no longer on VZWs network?

Interesting, I thought it was only on Verizon. Must be a Samsung screwup, not Verizon?
