Why: This heroic man (shopping bags in-hand) stood up to a line of TANKS that were trying to crush a pro-democracy movement by civilians in a public square in Beijing, China which consequently ended with the loss of many (some say 100's, some say 1000's) unarmed people's lives.

The tank did not flatten this man like a bug, but he hasn't been seen since that day.

To me, this man is the ultimate definition of courage. How do YOU define courage, and how far do you think you could go and why?

The tank man. the symbol of resistance for the tiananmen square. the Bastards probably silently executed him. Long live democracy!
