This is what I get on my WiFi connection:

Download: 6376 kbps Upload: 56 kbps Ping: 23 ms

I should have the same both directions.

Despicable.

I have actually been seeing slight improvements as well. I live in the Boston area though.

Download speeds 2744 kbps
upload speed 318 kbps

Which is a lot better than what I have been getting. Usually I am around 200 kbps up and 750-1250 kbps down

i live in the Hartford area. i just got 2637 and 382 upload. very good speeds.
for some reason with clifton NJ as my server, i got 3334 down and 388 up.

This is comparable to what I am getting in Louisville, KY. When using my wifi at home I got download of greater than 9000 kbps and upload of greater than 1000 kbps.

Previously on my iPhone 3G I was getting download of around 500 and upload of around 40 so this is a HUGE improvement for me.

The speed tests you get on wifi isn't the speed issue. It's what you get out of the network and ATT has the upload capped at 300kbps unless you root.

Ok, I live in Redmond, WA. . .AT&T Wireless headquarters. My speedtest.net results are as follows:

Server: Wichita, KS (why Wichita??)
Ping: 464
Download: 897
Upload: 129

Pretty disturbing results. I ran it again and got:

Ping: 455
Down: 1331
Up: 81

If this is 4G...well, at least they're not charging us extra for it like the other networks.
