Seeking very low tech way to transfer full-def photos off phone

I'm finding it difficult to find a low-tech (the owner is very non-techie, so introducing an app or registering a cloud service specifically for this procedure is likely to produce an unintended IT nightmare later; and, while I'm a techie, I know little about Android) way to transfer photos off a Samsung Android without having the photos 'reduced'. As an example of unwanted complication, this user has had a cloud service for backups, but can't remember the login or how to use the cloud service. IOW, that approach is too complicated a solution for this user. Trying to train this user to be a competent user of a cloud service would be akin to trying to train my Chihuahua to juggle tennis balls and develop close friendships with a group of cats.

It would be great if the photos could be transferred to a PC via email or through a USB cable, although I would consider other options if they are very user-friendly.

Trying to simply email a group of photos off this device results in offers to reduce the size of the photos (undesirable, of course), with the 'Send email' icon greyed out if we don't reduce the sizes.

I am hoping to find a feature as user-friendly as the IOS email feature whereby IOS email app uses temporary cloud storage (unbeknownst to the user) to upload the photos and provide a download link to the email recipient.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

P.S. I'm not fanboying IOS here, because I'm an unhappy IOS customer myself. I'm looking forward to replacing my IOS experience with Android when my iPhone dies or becomes obsolete.

What phone does this person own? Does the phone support an SD card? If so the pictures could be copied to the SD card, then the card inserted into the card reader on the PC.

If no SD card slot on the phone, then the phone can be connected to a USB port on the computer, then select MTP, rather than charging, and the folders containing the photos can be copied to the hard drive on the PC. See the following link here: https://support.google.com/android/answer/9064445?hl=en Option 2 is the one I'm referring to.

Ms Knotek -

It is a Samsung phone, although I am not sure of the model name/# at the moment.

I like your suggestion (!), and I will give it a try.

Thank you so much!
