Hey guys I see this question all the time on this site about the pro's and con's of these 3 clients.

Did a review for some other friends of mine that were asking me which was best and thought I'd share it here!

Enjoy and feel free to critique, read it with the link below.

War of the Birds!

I prefer Seesmic... @mentions and FB integration are nice. I would prefer a single stream though.

Tweetdeck is a close second; never really cottoned to Hootsuite.

Seesmic owns all of them. The UI and the speed simply can't be compared with tweetdeck or hootsuite.

Yes, I never gave Seesmic a chances before this review. I really am loving parts of their stuff. I keep going back to Tweetdeck usually go.

I think Tweetdeck is the way to go. It has one feed for Twitter and Facebook streams. Also, it's interface is incredibly easy to use (not to say the others' aren't) and it looks great.

I like Tweetdeck, just a bit clunkier than Seesmic (to me). In truth, I think one reason I like Seesmic is it reminds of Socialscope on BlackBerry. But, as noted, it is missing the combined stream that I crave.

I fix this by using Seesmic with LauncherPro Friends Widget. I can do light management of FB and Twitter from the widget, and for heavy lifting, I invoke Seesmic directly from the widget.

Do any of these have goo.gl as a shortener? Because between that and the scrolling widgets, I honestly prefer Plume as my Twitter client of choice.

not sure about the shorteners. I know tweetdeck uses proprietary. Hootsuite a ow.ly seesmic...not sure.

**edit** just tried it on...sssssssssssssssssssss (you get the point). It's bit.ly all hail Libya!

TweetDeck FTW right now. I want more customizations in it though.

But Plume (hate the new name AKA Touiteur) was actually the best of all of them at one time.

are there no concerns with these apps having access to all that sensitive personal data on facebook? i'm sure they're all legit companies, but the fewer people in my business the better (because i'm doing things that are oh so sneaky!... but not really). even just having the facebook app makes me uncomfortable. it makes me feel like facebook is following me, always watching, always learning, and taking wayyyy more info from me and much more frequently on my phone than my computer. then again... i may just be paranoid. :-\

they only have as much info as I allow in Facebooks Privacy Settings (though they do change like....wait they just changed!)
