seidio 3500 battery case option.

So I purchased the 3500 battery from amazon last night. I also ended up picking up the

Amzer silicone skin jelly case (black) for the HTC EVO 4G.

They have a customer pic of him cutting out the back for the extended battery. Looks very good. at first I thought it came that way.

Any one looking for a case for the extended battery. This is a cheap option.

Wowww,,,,great thread dude!,,for the last few days I've been on the search for a better case,,received seidios innocase snap today in the mail,but there's just NO shock protection,I think I read somewhere that a normal sized credit card is the perfect shape for the cut with a boxcutter..great info,thanks!

Just ordered my 3500 and a few jellies ( Seido, Amzer, and GTMax ). Figure I'll miss cut the first case. Too bad Seido doesn't make a good case for the extended battery.

My 3500 battery and case should arrive tomorow at my job. I can't wait. Will have to see how hard it will be to cut/trim the case.
I am thinking if it works.. I am going to put some 3M clear film on the exposed battery cover. That should give me all the protection i will need.

So I wanted to give an update..

Got the 3500 battery and amzer gel skin yesterday.

The Amzer gel case is actually very nice! I didn't think it would be that good for $9.99.

was able to cut the back out for the extended battery. The case still fits very snug.
I cut a piece of 3M clear film and put on the back of the battery cover to protect it.

To early to tell on life of battery. but really does not add much more weight to phone.
love not have worry about scratching the camera lens now.

So for now I am impressed . Anyone who has this battery. This makes for a very good case (Amzer) to protect our evo.

I'm glad you posted this, the only reason I was hesitant to order that battery was because I didn't want that useless seidio innocase extended... going to order tonight with the amzer case.
