I e-mailed Seidio customer support inquiring if their Active cases will fit the stock Motorola/Verizon Extended Battery and cover and just a moment ago I got an e-mail stating that it will not.

:(

I think it may regardless of what they say. The Innocase apparently works with it - I'd think the design difference alone would make the Active even more likely to fit.

My guess is it's Seidio's "canned" response to any question regarding any accessory compatibility questions for anything they don't make themselves.

Hey BillK, are you still waiting for the Active case from Seidio? I think I read in a post that you explained what the difference between Active and Surface? I've had a Surface case for my BB Curve and I became a huge Seidio fan, so I can imagine what the Surface might look like, but what's difference?

Thanks!

Active is a silicone case that wraps around the phone - covering the buttons (but not the ports) that then has a plastic exoskeleton that slides/wraps/snaps over a portion of the silicone case but not all of it.

Rugged is a Innocase that then has a silicone wrap over it (that covers everything but the mics and speaker) and then another plastic exoskeleton that slides/snaps/wraps around the silicone case but not all of it.

I bought Innocase's for both my wife's X and mine (black Best Buy one for me and Burgandy Seidio for her) - and will probably get the Active and Rugged for mine when released - and probably an Otterbox Defender too once they're released.

Based on what one I like the best - I'll probably end up getting my wife that too. For me the Innocase is just temporary until the better offerings are out.
