Hi guys I just wanted your opinions about which case you think is better for the EVO I am even thinking about the rugged case combo because you get the Seidio innnocase as well as the extra protection. Any ideas?

I have both active and surface II. I like the surface II a bit better because it is thinner but is more difficult to hit the power button. Plus the active silicone is well silicone. I am not a big fan of it. But since it has the hard shell around it, it keeps it in place. Why not try both if you have the cash.

I like the Innocase II a lot. It doesn't add that much bulk to the phone, and provides decent protection (but not as much as the active). It does come up past the screen a little so that if you set the phone face down it's not sitting on the screen, and it has a good feel.

I do not have personal experience with the active case, sorry.

I have the LE active from Amazon, LOVE it for toughness, but it's bulky, I use it when I'm at work and paranoid or when out doing things. The wife just got the IC2, I love it for how thin it is, but don't really like the feel of it, maybe after a few days of use it will feel better, but it actually feels a little too slick for my tastes.

I can't decide on what thinner case to get, or just get an Invisible shield for the back of the phone so it doesn't get too beat up and go that route.

My issue with the Invisible Shield (besides the rubbery feel) is that it won't protect the camera when you set the phone down. If you want a nice thin case that will not add much bulk and will still protect the camera you should look at the Barely There case made by Case Mate.

Yeah, that's my only issue with the invisible shield as well, I don't mind the rubbery feel, as I won't put it on the screen, tried the one in the sprint store with it and hated it. I have looked at those and may end up getting one of those as well :)

Active X Exoskeleton Limited Edition!

do a search here for the review by pingpongboss and our comments.

good luck.

I went ahead and bought the rugged combo cause I get the screen protector and the innocase 2 as well so if I ever need the extra protection I can use the rugged case when I need it.
