Seidio Innocase Holster

I know it's mentioned in the product description that it's only compatible with the Seidio Hard Case or Skin Case and that fit with other brand hard or skin cases is not guaranteed.

Now my question is... can anyone confirm whether this belt clip will fit any other brand case or skin case? Not sure if it's a marketing ploy to buy only Seidio products or it's true that it won't fit any other brand hard case or skin case.
