I agree but since I already have the Innocase I figure for 19.95 it's worth a try. I'll probably end up with a Defender too eventually.

Ah I thought it was for the active. I believe you and I have the same PT series case from BB which is the same, should fit. I will likely do the same and get both too lol.

Yea I have the Best Buy version of the Innocase. It is identical to my wife's Seidio Innocase she has on her X - other than the PT logo on the back they're the same.

Also - as has been reported elsewhere - I'm very happy with the fact the official VZW extended battery fits just fine with the Innocase as well - even with using the slightly larger door. Just got my battery today and was skeptical it would bulge - but nothing - not a bit different than before.

Ya, actually it doesn't fit EXACTLY like the original, but it does indeed fit. I found that if you snap together the part near the usb connection first and go counterclockwise it works best. I'm afraid it will break apart when I drop it.

Otterbox is going to take way to long to get us a defender case though. I'm going with this rugged case. Otterbox needs to be reminded where their bread and butter comes from.

The colors on the Active cases are not silicon. The colored portion is the same material as the innocase. The silicon on the Active is black no matter what color you get.

Got my add on kit in today. Fits good with the BB case. I also have the extended battery. If anyone cares I could get some pics up later.

I can tell this case is super nice, provides excellent protection, but I don't like how the buttons aren't protected. Also I notice that pulling down notifications is slightly more difficult now.

I got mine in the mail a couple of days ago, just waiting for my phone now.

But I noticed the flap of rubber that covers the camera lens. So if I want to take any pictures, do I just hold that flap back with my finger? I guess I don't know how that will work.

Theres a little notch in the plastic that holds that flap back.

Got my Rugged today.

So far I like it a lot - however the earphone jack cover is semi-difficult to get open and the charging/hdmi port cover almost seems too easy to get open.

Other than those 2 small gripes - and the fact it adds considerably to the size of the X - I'm digging it a lot.

I'll still most likely get an Otterbox Defender when it releases but until then the Rugged will serve me well.

Haha you and me both. I am slowly warming up to it. For sure I will get the defender case too
