Is the active case comparable to the otterbox in terms of protection?

Does the active case have a screen protector like the otterbox?

The active is not as good as the otterbox defender. Active is 2 piece case, rubber with a plastic skeleton over it. I have one from my evo 3d and it did not come with a screen protector. I also found the rubber to be somewhat loose around the edges of the phone.

The surface is the one I like best. Simple slide on plastic 2 piece. I've used the best buy "platinum" variant on my evo and evo 3d

I agree with tkemack's assessment of Active case.
Another big issue with Sedio Active case is that the tabs on the plastic skeleton outer layer keeps breaking even if you do not take the if off after you put it on. Even though the Active case was kept in my wife's purse all the time and she never dropped it, we went through 4 Active cases for EVO in 12 months period as it kept breaking after about 2 months. It is a common issue with Seidio Active case based on the customer review on Amazon. I will never buy another Seidio Active case. This time, I will buy something from Trident or Ballistic when they become available.
