Select Home Pop UP

[Android Central Question]

I have read the answers to this but still not clear. Any time I hit the home tab, this pop up comes up "Select Home" then I have 3 choices, Home, Home and App drawer and easy home. Under that it gives a block to check off that says Use as default app. I just want this to go away. In my apps, there is nothing that says "select home". What do I delete to make this go away? This just started happening and not sure why.

"Easy Home" sounds like LG's flavor of a OEM launcher. Assuming this, your phone has the option of three layouts when pressing the home button.

"Home" puts all of your apps on the home screen(s) similar to iOS.

"Home and app drawer" is the more traditional Android layout where home screens can have shortcuts and widgets, and all of your apps are in the separate app drawer.

"Easy Home" is basically a dumbed down home screen for people that are not tech savvy.

You'll have to select one until you check the box to make it a default. It's asking how you want your launcher to display the home screen, so try them all. When you figure out the one you prefer, set it as the default. You can also find this setting by going to settings > display > home screen > select home.

If you install a third party launcher like Nova, you'll encounter this again until you set the new default.
