"Select Input Method" Annoyance

Does anyone know how to fix the stupid "select input method" persistent notification in the status bar while typing with 3rd party keyboards (Swiftkey), etc. Thanks!

The only way I know of is to disable the other input methods. Since it won't key you uncheck the Google Keyboard in input settings, I disabled the Google Keyboard app.
