Selected Items Color change

so the default color of selected items is yellow (checks in the box you've selected is also yellow) which is sometimes difficult to distinguish between checks in unselected boxes ... the yellow color is so unnoticeable that i REALLY have to look to see which box is checked and which isnt... is there a way to change that selection color yellow to say DARK blue or even black?

I'm lost..... mine is gray and the checks are bright green by default.

The OP is referring to text messages and emails I think and there is no way to change this.

ye, bright green, yellow whatever... i'm colorblind either way so i need a dark color haha

example when i use the advanced task killer its difficult for me to see which tasks are checked and which are not

There is no way of changing it at the moment. You can thank this guy for the color.
