selfie stcik

Hello,
My mobile is HTC 816g .. i bought Selfie Stick but when i press the Bluetooth shooting button the volume is raised !!! how can i change the setting to capture the photo ?

Welcome to Android Central! Open your Camera app, tap the menu button (or settings icon), and look in the settings for a hardware button shutter release option. If there is one, make sure it's set to the Volume button.
