I'm moving back to my trusty iPhone and I need to sell my GN (please, no flaming! I'm not making any sort of comment on the GN or Android at all. I just find my iPhone to be better for *me*.). I've flashed Codename 1.1.1 to it so I've naturally made a couple backups - Titanium Backup and a Nandroid backup. How do I ensure that I clear my stuff out? Preferably without having to reflash Codename to it.

Also make sure to format the sd card partition if you've got anything on there private.

How do you format the SD partition? I don't see that option. I had a problem where a number of directories in /sdcard were not writable, even by root. I had to boot stock recovery and wipe data from there since that method clears /sdcard

You could always take it out and format it on your pc/Mac.
Then just put it back in

Wow......not even close. There is no removable sdcard, it's virtual. Haha. But I like the effort!! Most of the tune this would be the case, just not this time.
