Selling Phone Prep.

Hey, I am selling my phone to someone on craigslist. I was curious on the steps I should take to make sure he is not getting any information or my number. I know I should export everything to my sd card. Then remove that and do a factory reset/flash. But what about deactivating my number on it? Should I just dial 611 and they tell me?

Do a factory reset, remove your sd card, remove all accounts, and have it deactivated through your carrier and you're set.
