Send button not responsive

Used Gboard keyboard and also no difference.

Everything you stated indicates that the digitizer/screen is busted in that area. I don't know what else to tell you. Play around with one in a store or borrow a friend's unit to see if it acts the same.

Finally figured out what was causing my problem. It was an app called "Panels" I had the trigger (I had it fully transparent and didn't see it) to open the side panels basically in the same place as the send message button and that's why I had to keep tapping the send button. I've since set it to hide whenever I'm using the keyboard and everything is fine now. Thanks to everyone for all the help and suggestions, greatly appreciated.
