What was your experience with sending the trade in item like iunno a day or so late?

What they say 15 days right m

I would send it in the recommended time the email says , they will send instructions or they can charge the cc full price.

It's really easy. Factory Reset the device, put it in the prelabeled container, and ship it. I do that as soon as I've fully set up the new device. Don't thanks a chance on them charging you the full price. It's a nightmare straightening certain things out with them.

I wouldn't chance it. They calculate the date as the day you give it to your courier to ship in the box and label they give you. I never had an issue, but you certainly don't want to give them a reason to deny your return.

Unfortunately with Samsung I would send it in within 2 days max after getting your phone. That's the bad part of trading in if you're a one phone person and don't have back ups. Once you send that phone in your not getting it back and if you return the phone you bought under the 14 days you will only get the trade in value for your trade in, not the promotional trade in. I've seen best buy break it down this way, it would show trade in value and promotion value. Maybe Samsung doesn't do it that way, don't know.

Me personally, I wouldn't do trade in's unless I had a back up to trade in. I believe in having back ups

I try to send mine after about ten days--long enough to confirm that the new phone works properly, but early enough to beat the deadline.

Not sure why you would want to do that? They give plenty of time 15 days for sending in the trade in. Doesn't mean they need to receive before 15 days, it means you need to drop off at FedEx before 15 days are over. Even if you drop off on day 15 you are good to go, make sure you get a drop off receipt just in case.

Generally I drop off with FedEx with couple of days left for 15 days. Gives enough time for me to evaluate in case I need to return the original device. Personally wouldn't risk drop off after 15 days since that gives an automatic invalidation from Samsung if they screw up something on their side, they can always come back and say you shipped after the 15 days expired.

One time (only once) Samsung sent me an email saying this is the last reminder to send in your trade-in or you'll be charged full price. This was when it was passed the 15 days and they didn't get the phone yet.
