Take this with a grain of salt guys, but I called in to T-Mobile to change my plan to something a bit cheaper and asked about the Sensation. The woman I had on the phone said that there was an internal memo floating around saying that T-Mobile is to start pre-orders for the Sensation next week. She said I should check back in on Monday and that hopefully there will be a bit more solid information. Hope it turns out to be true!

I highly doubt this is true but it would be pretty sweet if it were. What other phones have they done pre-orders for in the past? Perhaps they are anticipating the Sensation will be their highest grossing phone. I sure hope so because honestly I'm so sick of hearing about the Thunderbolt. T-Mobile needs some recognition for once.
With the news just coming in that the phone hits shelves on the 8th, this might pan out to be true. Last phone I preordered from tmobile was the HD2 (last summer) and I did it rougly 3 weeks before release date.
According to an "employee" on the tmonews Facebook page, he claims that tmobile will be marketing this phone this week. We shall see.
I don't know but it would BE REALLY SMART IF THEY DID. Why not start air a new Carly commercial introducing the phone. Then they can say available June 8th. I'll NEVER understand why these companies don't give out official dates.
Because most of these phones are delivered 'Just in Time' (like your favorite Android compiler) and they prefer not to give a date out unless they know for sure the phone will be ready.
