I can't read the text, but the pictures look pretty awesome! The leaked software has also been posted at XDA. It looks like HTC is adding CM10-esque quick settings, and the article says Sense 5.0, but the XDA thread says Sense 5.1. Anyway, enjoy the pics and the xda link.

Looks like more vanilla Android features are migrating into sense. Personally, I miss the two figure swipe down for quick settings on my nexus 4. Obviously, it isn't necessary but having your picture in the top left hand corner added a certain personalized touch to the phone.

After moving from a Nexus 4, I thought I would miss 4.2.2. In fact, I really haven't. Only feature that truly stood out was the quick-settings toggles, but the extra click it takes on the HTC One isn't a big deal. The increases in speaker, screen, build quality, etc. is so worth it over the most recent Android version.

What' I'm excited to see though, is what is gonna happen when KLP 4.3/5.0 is announced. Would hate to have to wait months for that update...

It sounds like Google is delaying the update... that doesn't bode too well for those of us waiting for it.

I am stoked. I hope the update gets to us fast! HTC has impressed me thus far!

Who knows, maybe Google is pushing the update through the pipeline to hardware manufacturers earlier to reduce the delay. I read somewhere that it was speculated that Google was holding off on updates to allow companies to catch up. I have kept my nexus 4 just in case there is a fun new software update feature I will want to play with and get out of my system, like photosphere was before.

If Google is delaying it, then everyone is in the same boat -- Nexus owners, SGS owners, everyone. So no great loss there.

This was the rumor a few weeks back -- that Google was pushing 4.3/5.0 to the OEMs and carriers so that they would have it ready to go within weeks of the official unveiling. It's one rumor I hope is true.

I think this is one area in which HTC could truly make a name for themselves, strive to update their phones as quickly as possible. I think that is always in the back of our minds when we purchase a non nexus device, "how long will it take for updates?" ... Come on HTC let's get the ball rolling!

I'm hoping HTC incorporates the lockscreen widgets into their Personlize'd lockscreen section!

This is very true, and I'd love it if they could do that! Unfortunately they'd have to get the carriers' cooperation to expedite things, and I suspect that would be about as easy as herding cats. :(

What do you mean? Google already released the update and the source months ago. It's HTC and the carriers that delay the updates.

What about the OS refinements and lock screen widgets? Or the pure, stock Android that the N4 offers?

I think we're talking about different updates. I was suggesting that Google won't have Key Lime Pie (or whatever they call the next android system) ready at Google IO.

Ah, I see. Well, that's just a rumor and is yet to be seen.
