Just updated to 4.4.3 on my UK unlocked m7 and mirroring now appears to be working again!!!!!

Same here - Just installed 4.4.3 update - Miracast now working again! Poor show from HTC support who insisted it was a Miracast App problem even though I advised them that I hadn't installed any 3rd part app but was using their own Media Output function.

Hey, thought ill bump this as i cant get miracast to work anymore.
Ive got an Sony-kdl-50w828bb tv, and an HTC One M8 (running 4.4.4)
When i bought the tv like 2moth ago? the phone connected straight up and using the 3 fingers i instantly got a mirror of my phone on the tv.
Now i have moved my tv to another apartment and now it simply does not work..

I connect my phone true the tv's wifi, then it says one user connected, and device not compatible with miracast??
any others had this issue? or know what i can try next? Been rebooting the phone, updating the tv everything i can thought of, deleting paired devices etc..

Sorry, I can't figure out what's going on.
All I know is you haven't updated M8 version or done anything on your TV, right?
You just moved your TV to a new place, right?

I've had a similar issue on my Sony TV and M7: the default three-finger swipe (dlna) doesn't work anymore, but Mirracast does if I use the TV remote's source button (the green button on the top-left of most Sony remote controls) to select Screen Mirroring as the TV input and then three-finger swipe (or Settings -> Media Output).

I think that there was a TV update recently.
