Sense reloads when exiting apps

Most of the time when I exit out of apps the white htc screen appears and all my widgets and app shortcuts reload. Any ideas on how to stop this?

I get that too sometimes. I think it's just a memory issue. Apps like words with friends and scramble with friends use ridiculously high amounts of memory (it might be the ad system). Run out of memory and Sense will sometimes have to reload.

My phone is constantly restarting sense. I will turn it on, go into messages, hit home, and sense will just restart. Again and again. All day long.

This isn't normal behavior, so you (all) should be checking your phones for unusual application behavior. What is listed under battery history as chewing up the most battery life? What apps/services are running that raise red flags? Have you used something to check your phones for malware?

Are your phones stock, or are you rooted? If the latter, what ROM are you running?
It may be worthwhile to consider a factory reset, if you are willing to go through the hassle.

if rooted, you can go to recovery and try the fix permissions option.

Most battery sucking application is my Display. I have done a factory reset 6 times and I am not rooted, I am fully stock. It sucks.

No. Not running any task killers or anti virus apps.

I had this issue a lot and it seemed every time I exited any application Sense would crash and restart. Even though I had not installed any new apps or updated any apps for a while suddenly, without explanation or reason, Sense would crash every time I exited any app. It was quite annoying. Since I switched to ADW Launcher I haven't had that issue anymore. I prefer the ADW experience and tons of customization options over the Sense experience. I like the fact that my icons switch to landscape mode when I turn my phone on its side. I'm completely stock, no root, no custom ROMs, etc.

Go launcher ex...problem solved. Also pretty much any custom sense ROM.

The app that is running and taking up your battery (and your memory, which causes the redraws) is HTC sense.

I've only had this happen once or twice in the year i've had my phone. It's not normal.
