What version of sense should my EVO 4G be running after the GB (2.3.3) update and follow up update? Mine appears to still be version 1.0, but my wife who just got the GB (2.3.3) update to her EVO Shift 4G is running HTC Sense version 2.1.

It's the one where you have the Quick Settings tab in the notification area, where you can adjust what radios are on.
I read somewhere that the reason the EVO isn't getting Sense 2.1+ is because of the generation of the Snapdragon processor. The EVO Shift has a newer generation of it, I believe.
Why not give you more popular phone of the 2 sense 2.1...I'm getting sick of HTC and their bs...Samsung within here I come.

My wife has a Shift and I think its 2.1 because they need to be able to rotate Sense to Landscape Mode for when their keyboard is out. I know my phone doesn't do that.

The shift had parts of 2.1 so it could rotate...now it has full blown sense 2.1, with all the skin changing glory! Lol just no HTC hub. I checked after I updated my girlfriends shift lol
Yes, because everyone is getting there upgrade this or next month...that was dumb dude...because not everyone is getting their upgrade soon and doesn't have $600 to buy a new phone because they want some UI changes...Smh people really need to think before they open their mouth or share their thoughts

i know for a fact the evo is powerful enough to run sense 2.1 I have had countless roms of sense 2.1. They just want you to upgrade to the evo 3d, unfortunately...
Meh...I use Go Launcher EX and have around 15 themes and 30 wallpapers. I never know which phone I'm gonna' have, most of the themes are free, and I've got 9 screens now to throw widgets at. Hella better than Sense, and their weather widget is cool as hell.

if it comes to a user interface change try using adw or launcher pro or etc... i guess. If you are daring try looking at some of the ported roms of sense 2.1 and 3.0 builds. i've been running a sense 3.0 rom for the past week and it has been amazing. there is no reason the evo shouldn't get an update to 2.1 or 3.0 it makes it seems like a new phone to me
