Just curious, and probably wrong... but has anyone noticed the circles next to the earpiece? One is the LED obviously, the other on the left is most likely the light sensor, but what is the circle next on the far left? Looking closely makes it look like a front faced camera... but...?

Anyone know what it does?

Could it be that we have a front faced that's disabled?

I'm going to take my best guess.

1 is a light sensor. And 1 is a proximity sensor... so when you talk on the phone, it makes the screen sleep so you dont hit any buttons?

Thats my guess.

Curious that people don't actually read the manuals when the get new equipment. I typically scan them cover to cover while the device is getting its first charge assuming I didn't download it before while making the purchase decision.

I don't see it describing those two sensors on the left of the earpiece in both the quick manual that came with the device or the manufacture one from Verizon.

Proximity sensory is listed but not actually shown, nor is there a description.

in any case, the incredible has already been torn down and there was no camera hiding in there.
