I've never gotten a security patch on, or close to, the fifth of the month.

It's dated the 5th, but it's the first Monday of each month. Since this month that landed on a holiday, we'll probably see it next week instead

No - this only applies to those "new" updates from 7 to 8. We will still be getting our September updates shortly (hopefully).

Got the sep update today. looks like google delayed the update for 1 week . I think they delayed it for fixing bluetooth and other bugs. google is custom to fixing bug with security update

I think Google Bluetooth issues are a lifelong thing with Google!

Hope the reception issue and battery issues are fixed. I'm having horrible issues here and was fine on 7.1.2
